Ten points a dollar puts an entree $162.50 of spending away and chips $35.00. The fountain drink returns the most per point (0.80 cents) and chips the least (0.56 cents); an entree redeemed as a steak burrito ($11.80 at the median) returns more than one redeemed as chicken ($9.80). The sign-up reward, valued
Chips and guacamole was $4.90 at the median across 368 restaurants on 25 September 2026, which is the sign-up reward’s worth at the counter; the terms need a $5.00 purchase, exclude third-party delivery and catering, and give seven days. The free chips and guac guide has the whole of it.
Students
“Members score 1,000 bonus points when they sign up and earn 20% more points with every purchase, helping them get free Chipotle faster. College students enrolled in Chipotle Rewards can sign up for Chipotle U Rewards and validate their enrollment through ID.me by visiting Chipotle.com/chipotle-u-rewards.” The Chipotle U guide prices the difference: the entree reward at 12 points a dollar needs $135.42 of spending instead of $162.50.
What the pages do not say
No page read gives a cash value to a point, a list of the monthly drops, or a military or senior discount beyond this: “Chipotle does not offer a traditional, always-on military discount, but they do occasionally run special promotions or appreciation events for military members.” Catering placed on the brand’s own sites earns points (“at the time you place an order for a qualifying purchase (including a qualifying catering order) on Chipotle’s owned web ordering sites or via a Chipotle mobile ordering app”); third-party orders do not appear in the terms as qualifying purchases.
